exceL eSports Ltd: The Incorporation

As of the 1st April 2015, exceL eSports Ltd was officially incorporated and registered with Companies House as a Private Limited Company by shares. What this essentially means, for those not sure on the subject, is that the organisations now operates as a separate legal entity away from its shareholders, which currently consists of Kieran and myself. It is, for a lack of better words, a 'real company'.

Our decision to incorporate was for a number of reasons, the first of which was to legitimise our business-orientated approach and display to those external to our organisation how serious we are about the longevity of our venture. Secondly, it also greatly improves our opportunities to increase our sources of finance, as we can now take external investment in to the organisation from investors who we feel will have the organisation's best interests at heart. Thirdly, when dealing with potential corporate sponsors, it again gives them an improved sense of security that we are taking any affiliations we have seriously and will represent them in a professional manner.
